Well, I was browsing through some Shelby GT models for sale and I came across this blue one with a rear spoiler. It appears to be the same GT500 spoiler and still has the stripes going over it. It looks good, BUT the sticker lists "spoiler delete" under the Shelby modifications. CSM No. 08SGT0679

    1) Do you think the dealer installed this spoiler AFTER (it came back from Vegas) OR was is it a Shelby modification?

    2) Do you think it looks good?

I like the looks of it that's for sure, and it was definitely added after Vegas. The spoiler delete is the removal of the stock "GT" wing type spoiler before the car was shipped to Vegas. The SGT's are delivered without any spoiler. If it was dealer added the registry is most likely not up to date on the car either.

I like it also, but it is most likely a dealer add on.

Yeah, I have to admit it looks nice. However, I still prefer the look of no spoiler.

I agree that this particular dealer must have installed this... perhaps trying to hint at a GT350.

I think it looks great, I also think it should have never left Vegas without the spoiler, IMO, Rick

Nice! You added one too. That looks really nice! Definitely gives it more of a Shelby GT350 feel. Yes, I know it's not a GT350, but you have to admit that the car fits between the GT and GT500.

I purchased my 2008 Shelby GT convertible about a year ago. My only disappointment is the lack of a rear spoiler. The car just doesn't look finished.

It's too bad you have a 2008 (blue or orange), as I would gladly trade you my 2007 white trunk lid and spoiler for your 'spoiler delete' trunk lid.

The dealership had already installed a spoiler on mine.
