Carry-over hood underside

    What color should the underside of a 1966 carry-over cars' hood be? I've noticed both white and black.

    The original, unrestored hood for 6s087 is black on the underside. It is a fiberglass shell over a steel frame. This may, or may not, be true for the rest of the carry-over cars. Hopefully you will get enough responses to establish a pattern.

    The original, unrestored hood for 6s188 is black.
