Sold 10/67 to original owner (San Antonio,Texas). The 2nd owner (81-86 San Antonio,TX) modified the original engine for drag racing. The 3rd owner (86-89 San Antonio,TX) used #1482 as a daily driver until he sold it. The 4th owner (89-90 Helena, MT) repainted and won at Mid-American Ford Nationals 1990 and then sold #1482 to the 5th owner (90-92 Chicago Car Exchange). Purchased by 6th owner (92-97 Belton,SC) who flew out to Chicago and drove #1482 back to South Carolina. I purchased #1482 in 5/97 (New Haven,CT) and won First place Lime Rock Sunday Show of Shelbys 9/97. Driven on open track SAAC 23 (98 Charlotte, NC). The Suspension, Exhaust were modified in 1999 and set up to run SAAC 25 Lime Rock. Turned a very respectable 1:06 second lap time (which made me very happy) and my nieces were pictured in "Mustang Illustrated Magazine" with Carroll Shelby signing the dash. 8/04 was the 1st Shelby ride for my little boy (Matthew) at 4 weeks old to an open house at Cobra Automotive (Wallingford, CT). Driven every few weeks during the summer months to car shows or pick up the kids at school or take them to practice, or just to do burnouts around the neighborhood! __________________
Great looking '67 GT350 in dark moss green, one of my favorite colors on a '67 Shelby. Keep driving and enjoying the car as it was meant to be done. Congratulations. Eric
Gotta love those '67s. Great looking car with a bunch of mods where it counts and it still looks stock. Just the way I like 'em!
the 67 was the first Shelby I ever saw and it was love at first sight. Very nice car, but that doesn't seem to say enough
Right on, of course I am not impartial. I really like to see cars that are still used, raced and enjoyed.
