27th Annual Literature Faire and Exchange June 28, 2009 The Society of Automotive Historians Southern California Chapter presents its 27th annual Literature Faire and Exchange. Once again, the Faire takes place at the NHRA Wally Parks Museum at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, 1101 West McKinley Avenue. The Annual Lit Faire is usually atteneded by a lot of automotive writers, both professional and amateurs, and has a lot of old magazines, photographs, posters, prints, model cars, etc. There are no cars nor car parts which is what makes it different from the huge Pomona Swap meet. This is more of a collectors nostalgia event. Spectators pay no admission.Times are 8 AM to 3 PM June 28, 2009. (NOTE: Though that's the official time, I've seen people entering at 7 am to escape the heat fo the day) Enter at Gate #1 of McKinley, turn right and park in the Museum lot. A catering truck will be on the premises and it's right next to a nice hotel if the heat gets to you and you gotta get some of that air conditioning....
