I recently purchased a very nice vintage 1966 shelby tachometer. I need help with the internal wiring. The external wiring is as follows. 1 red wire 1green wire 1 blue wire for the light Internal has 2 wires. 1 green wire from the transformer stub to the front of the gauge behind the face plate. 1 yellow wire from the transformer stub to ?????? The other end is not connected and I need to know where it goes. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
so is the main headlight engine harness specific to a gt350 running the tach for these wires to be connected to or were they spliced into the underdash wireharnes?? or what did shelby do to connect these tachs to the mustang wireing??
wiring harness is stock Mustang. wire from ignition switch to resistor wire is unplugged and tach wires are plugged into the circuit. no splicing. Z. Ray
