Are you going to put on traction bars and if so are they going to be the over-ride (65) or the under-ride (66)?

I am putting on the underriders. Just waiting for the suspension to settle a bit.:cigar:

    Jerry,
I'll take some photos of the exhaust probably in a couple of weeks. I am waiting for the suspension to settle a bit then I can weld the traction bars on. That's when I'll get the photos. Thanks! :cigar:

    this is amazing!

It is pretty funny actually, I am in nearly the exact same process of the reserection as you are.. I have mine in the weldershop as we speak getting the shelby override traction bars and roll bars installed. Its been fun.. We are going straight to the paint booth for the wimbelton white and guardsman blue hue!

Are you going R-model recreation as well? I am building this car as at age 14 my dad bought me a standard 65 fastback and I always wanted a shelby.. these days I can afford a lot more but still not ready to spring for the real deal so i figured this is my best option.. I am trying to do everything that shelby did to them. As for doing this with your Dad! that is awsome. My father and I did it when I was a kid to my 65 Fastback (then it was only a 16 year old car) but it was the best summer with my dad of my life. My son now is 13 and I cant get him to be involved to save my life..lol any parts you need? i have some much extra stuff I have bought. need to sell it on ebay..lol

love to see more photos as you post

    Doc

I have really enjoyed following your restoration. Truly high quality throughout.
Any estimate on how many hours you have in the project?

    WOW....what a car
I'm new here and have just recently found this post.
I don't have a Mustang yet but what you have done is exactly what I want.
I'll need to go the recreation route, a real Shelby is out of my reach.
