Hi all. I've recently purchased an 07 White Shelby GT with 9,000 miles on it. I've owned many a vintage muscle car in my day but I gotta tell ya, this baby is quick! I like the way it sounds when ya crack the throttle some but while just cruising I wish there was a little more sound. I'm thinking about some Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers, anyone have them on their Shelby?
Does anyone know what the power source is for in the center console that says line?
Has anyone tried the 4:10 gear set? I drive mostly on windy back country roads.
I need to bring the car in for water spotted stripes and warped hood scoop.
Other than the spots on the stripes, they are still very shiny. Sorry so many questions and thanks for any help. Ken

Welcome, my wife has 4.10's in her 06 Mustang GT and they are perfect for the type of driving you want to do. You will need a programmer or take it somewhere to adjust the tune to calibrate you speedometer though.

Thanks for the reply, out of curiosity, what kind of RMM does it turn at 70mph on the freeway in 5th?

About 2500 rpm at 70 mph. That is with stock 18 inch polished bullitt rims.

Welcome to the site ..... I believe the "Line In" that you're talking about is the Aux. input to the stereo for the MP3 player.

Mods are mostly in this order on SVTPerformance.
    1. Short Throw Shifter. FRPP
    2. Exhaust of some type. Your Choice.
    3. Lowering Springs. FRPP
    4. Cold Air Intake with SCTx3 Tuner.
    5. Then gears +10% = 3.73 and +20% = 4.10.

Enjoy The Ride and Welcome to the Snake Pit!
