I'm restoring a 1967 shelby GT350 #1453 and I was wondering if anyone could help me with the placement of some of the decals. where is the correct location for the jack instructions abd which decal is correct the early or late version for this shelby. which tire pressure decal is correct 24 or 28 pounds and there are a couple more. Thanks Jeremy
Jeremy, the jacking instructions can be either of two places. Many were put on the trunk side of the trap door on the right side. The rest were on the right side trunk floor under where the spare tire sets. This is becuse the factory put them on with no decklid in place. Early or late style depends on when your car was produced at Ford. I don't have an aswer on the TP decal. Hope this helps. Al
The normal 67 Shelby jacking instructions sticker possible locations has been correctly explained. This is what the instruction sticker looks like. I hope this helps. Bob
Thanks al and bob, The car is built at san jose on feb 22 and I have both early and late stickers. the early sticker like the one bob sent won't lay down without being all wrinkly ? is that okay. Which tire pressure sticker is correct the high speed(28) or normal (24). I know it goes in the glove box but I don't know which one. does the sun viser stickers go on the side you can see with them folded away. that's the way i seen them on a friend of mines 67 but i want to make sure. If you are interested i also restored 1965 shelby #559 and am currently restoring a 1969 ranchero 428 CJ one owner car, you can see them at Jeremysdesigns.com. thanks for your help jeremy
The stickers were wrinkled when applied from the factory. There is only one tire sticker that was used on all the Shelby cars with E70 15 tires in 67,68 and early 69.The seat belt sticker is designed to be applied centered in the visor on the side facing the passenger compartment when stowed. I hope this helps. Bob
