Okay, here's our next one.......we have kind of ran out of room so this one is being done in the backyard. It's a car that we've had in mid restoration for a about a year and a half so I'll post some photos to get everyone up to speed where we're at at this point.
Backgound on the car: its the most solid 65 convertible that weve ever had and we've had alot. We decided to make it a custom and Shelby-ize to our liking. Here we go again.................:cigar:

By the way, here is the link to my entire album on this car. Please take the time to view it, this car has an awesome undercarrige.

First two pics are how I left the car about a year ago......

I have been working on the trunk compartment. It got some overspray on it so I re-primered it and then sprayed the Zolatone on it.

Also I started working on the door windows, this is some of the nicest glass that I've ever installed (more pics to follow):

How much Shelbization will you be doing? Keeping the pony interior or going standard, wheels, suspension, etc?

This car will have the Palomino Pony interior w/ matching top. 68 ten-spokes, Gold GT-350 stipes, Shelby hood, side scoops, pretty much a cosmetic Shelby on the outside with the fancy Mustang interior. The engine will be a 302 with 4-speed. This one should be a real attention getter.:cigar:

Just a few photos to give you the idea where we're at on this restoration. I will probably be putting on the gold stripes sometime in the next few days.:cigar:

Finally got the special order Robbins convertible top (Buckskin) in and installed. I think it goes excellent with the interior and stripes.
