Hi - new GT500 owner here (took delivery yesterday) and haven't been able to find anything on the forums about the "Upshift Indicator Light" on my dash - I am referring to the flashing orange arrow, NOT the "SVT" light - Ford describes it as below:

The Performance Shift Indicator feature functions independently of the
fuel economy Upshift Indicator ( ). The Upshift Indicator will still
illuminate when it is best to shift to the next highest gear to maximize
fuel economy regardless of the Performance Shift Indicator Settings.

If I understand how the Upshift Indicator is supposed to work, it is reading the RPM's and making a recommendation to upshift to get the best gas mileage - I get that. But oddly, mine will flash consistently at 2000-2300 RPM, which I can't imagine would be a good range to shift UP from ... the guys at my dealership haven't been able to tell me much about it - I imagine (hope) that it can be either reset (b/c it can't be right) or simply turned off

If anyone can point me in the direction of some literature on this subject, or share any similar experiences so that I will know mine is no the only one with this issue (or maybe it is) I would really appreciate it - I hope it is not an indicator of something wrong with the car

Thanks in advance and glad to be on the forums !

Go to SVTPerformance.com scoll down to GT500. There is a thread about this shift light, but the funny thing is that the poster used "shirt" light. It really has ALOT of articles for the new GT500 owners. Hope this gets you started in the right direction.

No, you cannot adjust the upshift lite on the left as it is an economy light.

The SVT shift light and tone can be adjusted via setup on your dash. The owners manual has full details as well as details on adjusting things like the multi-color display for your gauges.

As stated above the economy light cannot be adjusted or shut off. However the tone that you are talking about can. I am sure you will find that out in your literature section that you are investigating.
