Not really surprising to me. But it may return someday.

Too bad, but let's face it, they had a limited audience. If the Camaro cafe opened down the road I would never stop there. People are brand loyal, at least with 60's cars.

I think it could be a corner in chilis or existing chain

Wasn't Carroll Shelby's daughter an originator of Chilis restaurant? If she still is, maybe she could dedicate a corner of each Chlis to be "Shelby's corner" with memorabilia on the walls, etc.

It's about time the gearheads had a corner to call their own; not anywhere as big a chain as Starbucks but near say, ten major cities, preferably where there's a scenic driving area nearby (such as Mulhullond Drive in Agoura)

If that doesn't fly, maybe wherever there's a cars' n' coffee type place where enthusiasts gather early Sat. or Sunday mornings someone can start a Shelby's Cafe. Seems like a good marketing concept but gonna take a heap of money to pull it off

And then you have the problem of the guys who want to pull a wheelie in the parking lot and the weekly gatherings being cancelled. Then the Cafe would lose its one day a week bonanza
