G.T.500 on eBay with NO RESERVE! With 9 days remaining in the auction it has already received 17 bids and is over $50,000. This is going to get interesting as this car will be sold. There is no ludicrous and extravagant reserve.

That's refreshing...maybe we'll get some idea what they're truly worth.

Who's to say if the seller doesn't like the closing bid that maybe minutes before the auction closes, this seller could bid a high bid for the car under some other bidders name????

Now it's gone over $70,000 with....

22 bids and almost 9 days left to bid. This is going to be fascinating. By posting "no reserve" the bidders know somebody is gonna be shipping this Shelby home to their garage.

It is now up to $90,100 with over 7 days left....

to bid. This Shelby could make it to the $125,000-$140,000 range.

Is This your Car?? 67 GT500's command a High price for certain. I would have to see the car in person before I bid a Dime. Pictures can be deceiving. but there are many people with Boatloads of Cash who do not care and Buy Blind. I hope it hits $200K!

Nope, my Shelby is a '68 G.T.350 convertible and...

is #432. It's not for sale at any price. I just find these auctions on eBay pretty fascinating.

I do not think they are fascinating when they are B.S. They become annoying! It is nice to see that you love your Car so much that $25,000,000.00 Dollars can Be placed on Osama Bin Laden's Head yet not be enough to buy your Car!! You must really enjoy it! I believe everything is for Sale. You just have not set your price ....yet!

Geez, I didn't mean to offend you by stating that....

my car was not for sale at any price. OK, I'll be more precise just for you. My car is not for sale at the going market price (or even higher than that price range) for 1968 Shelby G.T.350 convertibles. Does that make you feel better now? I certainly didn't mean to get you all fired up by my choice of words. You may not believe this but eBay sells a ton of cars of all years, styles, conditions, etc. What are they doing that ticks you off so much that you would blast an innocent stranger on a friendly forum?

I find it interesting that the 67 GT 500 are so esteemed, being that they built almost half as many GT 350's that year, it was the last year for the K engine (289 Hi-Po), and, the GT 350 could out-handle a GT 500 on a tight SCCA autocross. But I still wouldn't mind owning a 67 GT 500. But I'll keep what I have.
The only thing that really bothers me about the price is, well, for more than $125,000, lets see some Conours judging sheets, or some ISCA wins.

I hope it goes to $150,000 or more. It seems that every forum has the guys that knows what a car is worth but won't or can't buy one at any price. My insurance company has no problem writing a policy for $150,000 on any of them and none of them have ever been shown. You think the judges know what a car is worth? Based on what?

The car was sold for $115,100. It may seem ....

exorbitant today but by 2025 it will probably bring $250,000.
