i have an original lighter from a 69/70 gt500. it does not work but the parts are there. any one restoring a gt500 can have this for free,,just send me an address and i will mail it to you. It was originally from my 69 gt500 that was stolen in 1982 and never recovered.

This is a really nice thing to do for someone restoring a Shelby. I would like to see a "free parts" forum for everyone. Maybe some rules would be: Take one free, donate something (could be parts or literature) of similar value to the forum. If somone gets a free part and tries to sell it (online or otherwise) instead of using it for a restoration, a penalty. Such as a "Shame Alert".

I did the best thing I could think of doing with something that did not work. Give it to somebody that might use it to make their car complete, looks wise anyway. And if he sells it, big deal, he needed th money which will not last long, but whoever buys it or ends up with it they are the winner. I did all I could do. Hope they enjoy.

What is the difference between a 69 Mustang Lighter and a 69 Shelby Lighter?
