2007 or 2008 Black/Silver Convertible?

Hello Forum,

I'm ready to take the plunge and purchase my first Shelby. After years of Mustang ownership including a 1997 with 130,000 miles on it, I'm ready. Even the wife has said "Just buy it already because I'm tired of you talking about it!"

What I want but can't seem to find is a 2007 or 2008 convertible that's black with the silver rally stripes. For 2007, I've found the GT-H convertible as well as the black/silver combination in the coupe, but no convertible. For 2008, I've seen only a few convertibles (were there only 2300 manufactured?), but they've all been blue - no black/silver combination.

Did Shelby Auto produce a black with silver stripe convertible in 2007 or 2008?

I believe that all 2008 Shelby GT's were Vista Blue. I think you can buy 2007 Shelby GT's in White, Black and Graber Orange all with Silver Stripes except for the 2007 Black BJ Edition which had Red Stripes.

Ford produced the Shelby GT500 in black but the convertibles did not have the Lemans stripe.

2007s were only black/silver or white/silver

2008s included orange/silver(Southern Cal Specials) blue/silver (normal SGTs) and black/silver (bj cars only offered in 2008 model year)
