Chris you are correct, when a bidders bid reaches the reserve then the reserve is automatically met and the current bid jumps to the reserve met price regardless of where the previous bidder was at Actually if the seller put in for an auction fee refund based on "the bidder and seller mutually agreeing to not complete the deal'' then neither gets tagged and the fee is refunded and the auction becomes ineligible for feedback. I have done that a couples of times when a high bidder suddenly seems to misunderstand the auction terms or description and starts back peddling and I dont feel like getting a negative from an idiot over a $20 sale.
