I don't know much about the Cobras or the Shelby mustangs so I figure this is the place to find out.
My story... A few years ago I came across a three ring binder full of black and white negatives in a pile of thash someone had dumped in a field. For some reason it got my intrest, so I picked it up and took it home. I glanced thru the album then I packed it away.I came across it the other day and thought I'd give it a closer look. This binder has 25 sheets of negatives, each sheet has 6 strips of 6 negitives (36) per page.
Anyway I got out my light box and magnifying glass and spent most of the afternoon going thru them. There is pictures from France and Italy and what you would expect form tourists, the muesums and etc. also it looks like a race track , grand stands and some cars. I took a closer look and one of the cars is a Cobra #11 USA the license plate has 1/x MFG 013, and the holder says Carroll Shelby Motors Calif. There is also pics of #7 and #15 USA. I have been trying to find out where these were taken and what year. I think it's around 1965 but I can't find anything about the #11 car. It would make things a little easier if I could upload them to my pc but I don't have the negitive reader to do it. I'm hoping someone would know about these pics. and if it would be worth spending the money to develop them.
I thank you for taking the time to read my little story. I'm hoping these pictures might be something from the past that can be added to the history of the Cobra and the man who had a dream. sletc9

Go get some prints made. Photo labs can also digitize and save the photographs to a cd. That would make uploading to this site easier.

Please post photos - we love vintage shots.
