I'm looking at purchasing a 2008 GT-C's (grabber orange). I've noticed that some of them do not have the SHELBY letters across the deck lid. Does anyone know if there is a reason for this? Very confusing??

    Check for repaint.

    Letters should be there.

Could have been scrapped off (stolen).

The Grabber Orange GT-C's were about 217 in number. Of those apparently about 5 were without the Shelby Logo. The factory ran out of the trunk Logos with only 5 left...thus the 5/217 without the logo. Just purchased on of these rarities. I'm currently in the process of having an official certificate from Shelby Enterprises procured to reflect this happening. Should make this one of the most collectible of the late model Shelby-GT's. ....off the subject but are you from Texas?

My sons GT-C (121 I think) had the letters falling off in the hot Oklahoma Sun.
A little quality 3-M adhesive and its good to go.
