A lower portion of a standard FE block plate needs to be modified as the block plate will not mate up to the block due to the externally cast side oil passage. This mod is done to the drivers' side only as this is where the oil galley is cast. There were, originally, specialty 427 SO block plates from the factory.......very rare to find one today. I need two of them. Ya got any?

Hey Bob----What makes you think that there would be no vacuum for the power brakes with a tunnel port? All three of my 67 427 tunnel port cars[two Shelby's and one GTA fastback] have power brakes. I happen to have two 67 GT 500's with tunnel ports and one was dealer installed. It is also probably the lowest mile 67 GT 500 in the world. It had less than 2000 miles on it when I purchased it, probably had most of them put on 1/4 mile at a time. And the drivers side motor mount just needs a LITTLE modification to work with all three bolts.

What year was your tunnelport installed by the dealer?
