    Hello,

I have a question about the PCV hose for the 66 Shelby. Is the hose a molded hose or just something bent into shape? I have only been able to find molded PCV hoses that go to the carb spacer. My old PCV fitting for the Cobra intake had been capped off and was in pretty sad shape so I bought a new one from NPD. However, they don't have the hose either. I called Tony Branda and they even don't have the hose. Does someone know where I might get this hose? Or tell me what kind of hose I can get and just bend it into shape?

    Thanks for the help

You could try to use the Mustang 289 hose, but IMHO it's too short for the Cobra valve cover. Use the 351 moulded hose, it's the same design, but longer. These have a 90° bend at each end. If you need only one bend, use the later hose, which has a 90° bend at one end, but is otherwise a long straight hose.

The PCV hose used on the 66 289 hipo(same as V8) was used and the end that goes into the intake fitting (elbow) was snipped off to fit. After the hose was modified it looked like one end with a elbow and the other end was straight going into the fitting. Bob

Thanks for the replies 2+2 and Bob. That explains why I couldn't find the pcv hose I needed. I will order the normal pcv hose to carb base and just modify it like you suggested.

    Thanks again.
