Hello everyone. I'm the proud new owner of a nearly new 07 Shelby GT. Let me first say I cherished my perfectly modded (if you ask me) 05 Mustang GT until it got totalled by a red light runner on 8/5. That car saved my life and vowed to have another just like it. Wanda, as she was called, was like a family member to wife and I. Well after 2 months of exhaustive battling with my insurance company -- make sure your aftermarket parts are covered people -- we found our perfect candidate. A 2007 Performance White, Dark Charcoal Interior, 5spd, IUP... Shelby GT. She only had (before we drove it home) 353 miles when we picked her up and it was as perfect as one would expect for such little mileage. I reviewed and crawled under every square inch of that car and could find not one flaw (aftermarket anyway). We found it at a Chrysler dealership in Overland Park, KS. I don't believe they knew exact what they had based on the price we paid. So I put down a deposit and went to buy some one-way plane tickets to go to KC. When I searched Frontiers site and found $18... yes, 1-8 (plus fees), plane tickets to KC, I knew it was a good sign! So we flew out last weekend and drove her back to Littleton from KC. Such a great car. All the options we wanted (even heated seats... I feel spoiled). Handles like a dream, albeit a little stiff. But the stiffness is ALL GOOD when it comes to the way this thing corners. Make no mistake, this won't be a put-put car. I buy cars to drive them. I love them, I care for them... but I drive them. I digress. Happy to have another Mustang in the garage after a 2 month vacancy... and even better that it's also a Shelby. Never thought I'd own one. Looking forward to meeting some new car buffs to shoot the s**t with. Cheers, JR
JR, welcome to the site! What did you name your newest family member? You will have to take her out to the new race track East of Byers, High Plains Raceway. CECA, Colorado Exotic Car Association will be having several events next season. Come join us. Ranger Jerry from Arvada
