    Hay everyone
I have just reinstalled my shelby anti wind up plates that bolt to the floor in the 67 shelbys in front of the leaf spring eye and i believe they where installed to help it during hard aceleration.
However i have missed placed the rubbers:unsure: and cannot find them at the moment and i have been looking for days but like most things they will no doubt pop up when im not looking for them however if i can not find mine does anyone on here have a pair they dont need or i could buy?
I do believe they used the same rubber as on the 9 inch ford pinion guards if im correct.
    Thanks again guys
    Have a good day.
    :)

No one sells these except Branda, if he still has any. The price was stunning, last time I looked. He doesn't even use them on his repro brackets.

They have been obsolete from Ford for a long time.

The rubber parts were off of 63' Galaxies I've been told.

The rubber snubbers were the same as the ones used on the 65-67 9 inch rear end pinion shield. The 68-70 ones look the same but have a different thread and will not screw into the Shelby cast iron base. Bob

Considering the frequency of replacement, rethreading might be a reasonable response. The trick would be finding two of any vintage.

I would have to add that the 65-67 has a C3 engineering number cast in the rubber and the 68-70 has a C8 . The numbers are not that visible but there none the less. Bob

Bob, the number molded into the snubber on my 1966 Carryover car is:

    "C3AA-4906-C"

Just to clarify the C3 snubber has the fine thread and the later C8 snubber has a coarse thread. The size is the same it is just a matter of coarse and fine. If all else fails and you had to use the later rubber snubber it would be easier to rethread the cast iron snubber base then to try and rethread the stud coming out of the rubber snubber. Bob
