Anyone have any luck with the reproduction rear window molding(s) out there?
Getting reading to paint the car and wondering if I should buy the repo's or try repairing what I have. The upper two pieces aren't so bad, just need a little adjusting to get them to fit tighter to the weatherstrip. The lower right has a small 1/16" hole that some idiot before me drilled to somehow hold it down . Maybe that can be fixed also, don't know. There's an original (I think) set on eBay that's within driving distance for $165. Maybe I should snag them. I also heard its easier to install the rear molding with original weatherstripping versus the repo. True?

Any time you can use original ford parts, its always the best way to go, [nothing will fit better than ford]. The aftermarket trim is not as strong and can dent easily, at best you would want to pre fit any after market trim before body/paint work.
