This a pretty simple queaton, but I want to be sure before I buy.
What markings should be on the windshield of my car?
Is it "Carlite" or "Ford"? Is there a correct "ASM" number or code? Is the date code a two digit numeric/alpha like the side glass? Should it have a dark tinted band at the top?
All the side glass is "Carlite" and tinted.
This is an early March 69 Dearborn production convertible.

    Carlite

Sorry don't know the correct code off hand for a 69 convertible with tint

Yes the date code is a month and year code

All of this is provided when you buy a quality reproduction windshield (guessing that is where you are going with the questions)

Thanks Jeff, Yes I am looking at buying a reproduction windshield from OEM Glass in Conn. I saw them recommended on this site and contacted them for a quote. $319 plus shipping for a "carlite" date code tinted windshield, doesn't sound bad.
It just that I have had enough screw-ups in this restoration by making assumptions that I try to verify as much as possible.
    Thanks again.
