    Thirteenth Anniversary Holiday Party
    Saturday, December 5, 2009 • 6pm - 11pm

You are invited to attend the Thirteenth Anniversary of the Shelby American Collection Holiday Party.

Please join us this year in a special tribute to Carroll Shelby. Carroll and the Shelby American Team achieved sucess after success with the 289 and 427 Cobras, the Cobra Daytona Coupes, the Shelby Mustangs and the GT40s. Victories piled up rapidly and in 1965, Shelby American won the F.I.A. World Manufacturers GT Championship, the only U.S. car company to do so.

Carroll continues to be an influential figure in the automotive world today, with new Shelby models of the Ford Mustang appearing regularly. The presence of a Shelby badge on a car continues to turn heads and signifies that it is something special. It all began when Carroll and his team dropped that first Ford V8 into an AC chassis.

The Shelby American Collection is proud to have a growing family of friends each of whom played important roles in the success of Shelby American. This year we welcome back a key group of people who made Carroll’s dream come true:
Bob Bondurant - Winner 1964 Le Mans GT and 1965 F.I.A. World Manufacturers’ Championship
Jack Sears - Winner 1965 F.I.A. World Manufacturers’ Championship
Phil Remington - Director of R&D, Shelby American
Allen Grant - Shelby American Driver and Mechanic
Lew Spencer - Shelby American Driver and Shelby TransAm Team Manager
Chuck Cantwell - Shelby American GT-350 Project Engineer
Tom Yeager - Shelby American and TransAm Driver
Bill Neale - Renowned Automotive Artist

    Autograph Session
Carroll Shelby has agreed to sign a very limited number of autographs at the party. Autograph session tokens will be available at the Museum for $100 each. Tokens will be available 1 per person on a first- come, first-serve basis. Please do not bring car parts for signatures. These items will not be signed. The autograph session will begin promptly at 7:30 pm.
The Shelby American Collection is a non-profit organization. Proceeds from the benefit will be used to fund the continued operation of the museum.
