Hello, I just joined after reading some older posts here. The folks on this forum sure know their stuff! I restored 2 '65 Mustangs in the '80s, one was a ragtop and also an R code '69 Mach 1. I currently own a '69 sportsroof deluxe which I'm doing a restomod on. I may end up with original parts that a concours person could use and I may need some things as well. I enjoy working on classics and learning about them Thanks for allowing me to participate here. : )

Thanks Robin. Here's a pic of my tach cluster that I have handy. It was recently restored by Gary the "tachman" in SC. He just sent me this pic. He sure does great work! I'll upload some recent car pics to photobucket and provide a link later. It's not much to look at right now. It's a primered shell on an Autotwirler body cart.

I'm building a one-off hybrid based on the new Ford Racing Boss 351W block. It'll be a cross between '69 Boss 429 & '70 Boss 302 on the exterior. I'll keep the quarter scoops, use a shaker and '70 style Boss 302 stripe kit altered to say Boss 351. I'll have f & R spoilers and slats. Keep the AC, PS, Intermitant Wipers, & PDB. I'm thinking it will be black w white or silver stripes, we'll see...black is not forgiving. The interior is deluxe, alla Shelby/Mach 1. There will be plenty of go fast and handling upgrades including T5 trans. I have plenty of work to do but no deadline. It's my keeper.
