Hi, Just wanted to say hello to everyone, I had a 1968 Gt 350 a few years ago and Have one Boss 302 left its not really mine I gave it to my son as he went threw some Cancer treatments he is now 11 . I had an chance on a beautiful 2008 Gt 500 so I snatched it up yesterday. I am AMAZED how awesome it is . I bleed only Ford Blue and have been since I was a kid in High School and sold my 70 Mach 1 with a 428 Cobra Jet in 1980 to buy a Ford Pick up to go to work . I have met some of the most wonderful people on the Boss 302 Forum I mean the best ..and just signed onto here never thought I would be able to have another Shelby EVER but with support from my family life is too short ..Needless to say my son is so Happy with the Shelby I could not feel more proud behind the wheel... Welcome, glad you are here! Hope all is well with your son now. What color is your Shelby? Also, if you get a chance can you post a picture of your Shelby and maybe one of your son's Boss. I would love to see both. P.S. Where you from?
Thanks alot, I live in Port St Lucie Florida . I also had a yellow Boss 302 I sold about 2 months ago too. I had to do this like many of us because of lost Real Estate value lost huge and trying to settle on a second home. Unfortunatly it did not work out not by my choice so I had a chance to catch up to some other bills and I got a great deal on the 2008 GT 500 she has 7000 miles on her and is Blue and White I honestly NEVER though I could own one with the way they were selling just too much other stuff going on . I have not smiled so much in the last 3 months since I sold my Boss 302 . Last night after work about 8:30 pm I picked up my son Tanner 11 and we took the Shelby to a place called Hurricane Wings and Grill just me and my Boy it was awesome for both of us. This is my son Tanners Boss 302 He is such a great Kid !! Tanner sitting in the front seat of our 2008 Shelby GT 500 ( He just loves Mustangs and Shelbys so much) we have a signed dash badge too.. Here is our 1968 GT 350 we sold when my son Tanner first became sick. I wanted so again say I have never in my life met a kinder bunch of Friends as I have on the Boss 302 Forum .
