    Hi everyone,

I just bought a 2010 Shelby GT 500 and I have to say that it is the most amazing vehicle I have ever owned. This is my first Ford and I am loving it. The car doesn't dissapoint. I hope to hear from other Shelby owners to help me learn more about this car.

Also if I could find out what number built this car is and what is the total number of 2010's being built would be nice. This one is torch red with the white stripes.

Does anyone out there know the best way to store this car and what are the best products to use to keep this car looking new?

Look forward to hearing from you.

    Ron D

Hi Ron D, RON C. from Lone Oak,Texas here. Congrats and welcome. You will have to wait until all the 2010 shelby's are built to get your number. About June of 2010 call Ford Performance at 1 800 367 3788 and give them your VIN and a credit card number and for about $45.00 they will send you a certificate with all the numbers about your beast.

Thanks Ron C for the info and I will surely do that in June of 2010. Do you have one of these cars? I just put mine up for the winter yesterday. Bummed, but here in NH I will have to wait 6 months before I get to take the car back out on the road.

Thanks again Ron C from Ron D

You are welcome. Yes I have a 2009 gt500 I got in Feb. You might want to go to www.mgwltd.com. They have a really nice power plug replacement with a cobra on it. It looks a lot better than that brown piece of plastic that is there now. There is also a "gt500 forum" that has a lot of good info. I love my beast and drive it every where I go. We do not have much of a winter here. Eagle one makes a lot of good care products, they are part of valvoline. What oil do you plan to use? There are only 3 that meet the ford spec. ford motorcraft, castrol and valvoline roush if you can find it. Good luck with your ride.
