    Being that its a block FOMOCO logo my guess is that it is for a 1967 6 Cyl. closed crank case ventilation system. For 1967 I think the nipple sticks out straight on the 6 Cyl engines and for the V8's its an elbow nipple that sticks up.

    Does anyone know the specific application for this oil breather cap?
    This is an original cap (not a repop) which as you can see has the block
    FoMoCo stamp and was originally black. I just cleaned it up and
    repainted it. It's a push-on type.  I know it's for the closed emission
    cars but would like to know what year(s), model(s), engine(s), etc.
