The shop manual also lists this bulb as a 4 candle power bulb and it is a #97 bulb. Needless to say no one has replaced that bulb in a long time so a little prying on the bezel seems in order. My guess is that you need to pry it open at the end of the bezel where the screw is and that the other end is a tab and slot. Go get a new #97 bulb and some paper towel and glass cleaner before you start and that this should be a 5 minute repair job unless the gasket is junk and you have to make a new one. Hope this helps. It looks like there are rivets that hold it all together and that there is no way to get the cover off the bulb. There's a metal bracket around part of the cover that looks like if bent back that the cover might come off, but I wanted to check with you all before bending something that can't be rebent or breaking the plastic cover. If not, it appears that I would have to buy the entire assembly for about $35 since a single bulb does not seem to be listed in the catalogs I have. Any suggestions? Thank you.
