V-8 Daytona Shelby Z ?

    I have an 87 Shelby Z and looking at doing a V-8 swap. The motor is out of an 89 Shelby dakota. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this swap? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    I have seen one done before, I thought someone was making a rear suspension kit to mount a live axle for those cars at one time in the 90's. I think DirectConnection had a kit or something.
