    Hi All,
I'm Brian and I live in Colorado, west of Denver. I was looking for images of the Moto-Lita steering wheel and found this site!
I drive a Rangoon Red '64 1/2 Mustang hardtop. It was built in Dearborn on July 13th 1964 and originally sold in St Louis, Missouri.
My car is a daily driver during the week, and a canyon carver on the weekends. My initial modifications for driveability included disc brakes and replacing the generator with a modified 130 amp alternator as well as a Hella H4 halogen light kit from Reenmachines.
I have made significant improvements to the handling with modern upgrades such as a Monte Carlo bar, 1 pc Export Brace, 1" sway bar, 620 springs, Opentracker Racing Products UCAs, roller LCAs, roller spring perches, and the NPD Negative Wedge kit and Shelby Drop. Out back, I've installed five leaf rear springs, a 5/8" rear sway bar and KYB Gas-a-Just shocks all around. My most recent mod was welding in a pair of Tinman Fabrication subframe connectors.
I've tried to keep the modifications somewhat authentic to the car's era wherever practical. It is a blast to drive and it corners extremely well!
I will be having the original (five bolt bellhousing) 289 rebuilt as a stealth-black 331 stroker. My aim here is to appear relatively stock until I turn the key! I plan to replace the C4 with a Borg-Warner World-Class T-5. I have not decided whether to go with the Z-bar clutch or hydraulic. When the new transmission is in, I will replace the 3.00 center section with a 3.55 Trac-Loc. And, then I may add disc brakes to the rear!

While I've always been a Shelby fan, I'm not crazy about clones. So, I've decided to build my car in the driving spirit of the GT-350, but not copy the looks of one.
    Cheers,
    Brian

Welcome, when I was in high school my daily driver was a 64 1/2 Rangoon red coupe. If I remember right it was a May built car. Anyway I sold it when I was in college. Can you post some pictures of your car, it sounds very cool.
