Wiegehts, offer to do some trading of memorabilia Hello I am an American long collecting Shelby memorabilia; have lots of glossy black and white photos and some fine art prints of my original paintings of Shelby cars (Shelby Mustangs, GT40s, Cobras) You can see them on a site called csxinfo.net or try this website legendconnection.org/links.aspx - Anyhow what I need from Deutschland is any old articles on Count Wolfgang von Trips who was Phil Hill's team-mate on the Ferrari team in 1961. There is even a book on him, orange cover, hardbound,about 15" tall and 12" wide, need copy of that no matter how shabby the condition is; and old interviews of the Count in German, Italian, French or English. We could do some horse trading of my memorabilia for each thing you find. The reason I am looking for this is that my friend Mike is writing a book on the GP races of 1961 and knows all about Phil Hill but not much about von Trips.
