I know performance upgrades suggestions have been asked many times over but is there anyone out there that has installed the FRPP cams in their Shelby GT? I have an 07 Shelby GT and about the only thing I don't like about the car is how smooth it idles. I'm an old school kinda guy and back in the day everyone loved the sweet sound of a lumpy cam. I've searched Youtube and the sound of the FRPP cams in the modular 4.6 sounds sweet! I know the performance gain isn't huge by replacing the cams but c'mon, the Shelby GT idles like a little old ladies LTD. Will the FRPP cams void my extended warranty? I do plan on adding some 4.10 gears this spring too waken it up a little for the back road country driving I do. I've read that the Shelby GT has an all aluminum block and heads. Does a regular Mustang GT have an aluminum block and heads? Thanks for any help and or suggestions.
