my shelby gt was hit, i need bumper stripes replaced, help

    hi to all, i've had my car only 3 weeks and it was hit. the front bumper cover was scuffed on the stripes and the paint was chipped in a straight line about 6 inches long. i can get the scratch fixed easy. its the stripes that i need to replace on the bumper cover. any of you guys know where i can get just the front bumper stripes (silver). i dont want to buy an entire kit but if i have to i will. please help me!!

    Try going to a local Sign Company. One that makes & installs the vinyl Graphics on Business vehicles. They might have it in stock or can order the Silver Metallic Vinyl. They should be able to cut it and install it for you.

    IMHO, I suspect if you don't order the complete original kit, you'll always be kicking yourself for not paying the extra to get something that matches exactly. Plus, you can always eBay an incomplete kit since someone, somewhere, will damage a different corner of their Shelby GT.​

    When I hit a deer with my 07 Shelby GT, the dealer sent a pix of the damage to Ford Racing, they authorized replacement stripes. Shelby then sold me the replacement stripes for just the damaged part. This has been a year ago so I don't know if the policy has changed. They needed a photo of the damage and the serial number of the car.....
