Rear Springs

    On a 68 P.I. did the springs come with a pair of insulators & retainer ? One goes between the bottom of the axle & the top of the spring, the other between the bottom of spring & the shock abs. plate . Also would'nt that make the car LOWER , like a lowering block would ? ---S.

    No insulators (unless you mean the plastic hexagons between the leafs). The axle sits directly on top of the spring and the shock mounting plate directly below the spring. They are connected by a u-bolt.

    Sounds like your looking at what was used on Cougars
