Hi, I am new to the forum and just purchased a 1966 GT350 clone, it looks very good but I need to have part of the Lemans stripe repainted, does anyone know the paint code? The car is white with blue stripes.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Not sure what the original paint code will be good for (since every company has reformulated multiple times) but here it is

    Ford code - 1622-A
    R-M code - A1630
    Ditzler/PPG code - 12832
    Dupont code - 4483

Nope - never heard of the color in rattle can. Now (not sure what the minimum is ) you might check with somewhere like Metro Mustang or another place that will do custom mixed rattle cans, to see what they quote you

    Good luck

Being a clone the stripes could have been painted any shade of blue?

Texas GT350,..if you find that the code isn't close, try to get your hands on a sikkens color chip book. I think they have the best sytem going. All their colors have a hole in the centre of the chip that you can place over the color on your car. Just a matter of finding the one that blends in the best, quick and simple.
