Hello Shelby fans! New to the forum and am looking for the guy tracking the Grabber Orange Shelby GT-C's. How many of the cars have you found so far? There are two more in my area. I have #178 on Central Coast of California. It's a daily driver and has the GT decklid spoiler installed by the dealer. The only one I've seen to date. Did see a GT-C with the GT500 Decklid spoiler and stripes over the spoiler. Future mods will include a set of driving lights and brake ducts in lower fascia.

For those Shelby GT & GT-C owners who haven't devised a way to mount your front license plate without drilling holes in the bumper fascia I have a solution. I bought a NAPA p/n 42722 license plate bracket like those used on trailers with torsion mount lights. You'll need to remove the plastic shroud between the lower fascia and crossmember to get access from under the car. Assemble the license plate and bracket temporarily and mark where you need to drill the holes. You'll also need an angle head drill and some really tough short drill bits, tungstan or carbide. The crash bumper is tough stuff to drill through. Drilled the two holes on the back-side of the inner crash bumper and used self tapping screws to secure it in place. The bracket needed to be tweeked slightly forward so the license plate was vertical, and positions the plate in a way that makes it appear to be floating in the lower grill opening. If you have an intercooler installed it could be tight and may require removal of the fascia and crash bumper. Lower grill installation rule out the use of this mounting method. This mod works for all Shelby GT's & Mustang GT/CS cars as they all have the Mustang GT/CS front fascia.

    That's all for now.
