1967 Shelby GT350 "extra cooling package"

    Can anyone tell me what the extra cooling package option is on the Marty Report?

    powersteering flui radiator perhaps..........???????

    That is what I was thinking but does that also enclude the fan with a fan clutch as well?

    The largest capacity radiator for a 289 car. And a fan shroud. Later cars got that rubber strip on the top of the core support. I'd have to look but the 289 HiPo with A/C might have gotten a clutch fan

    The P/S cooler I don't think is a part of the package.

    Hi all,
    The extra cooling package came from Ford,and as mentioned was specified by Shelby.It has a different radiator,and a different fan blade.Most hipo 289 equipped cars have the rubber seal across the top of the radiator support.The cars with a/c use a clutch fan,with more blades.The power steering oil cooler was a Ford truck part,and works well also.
    So far every 67 Shelby Marti report I have seen shows the car has this option listed.
