New to the site and the shelby world. I just came to own a 84 shelby charger non-turbo car and would like to hear from anyone that would know where to get parts to begin a restoration. Aswell as any one with insight on these cars as i am a complete newb to them.
Parts for restoration is difficult. There are few, and I mean very few, items still available from Mopar. Nearly everything is NS1 although some items remain in inventories. Your best bet is to scour junkyards, search eBay, join the Shelby Dodge Mailing List, join the Team Omni mailing list, browse the TurboDodge.com swap meet forums. Good Luck! The search is almost half the fun in restoring these cars and nearly the entire source of frustration. robin
