I'm new here with many parts questions. Hope to find some answers. I'm looking for a power steering pump pulley for a 67 GT 350. Ford part number C7AZ-3A733-C. It's stamped "7AC". Also I'm trying to find new carburetor floats for the Holley 715cfm list# 3259-1. So far a guy in tennessee is making reproduction pulleys for $185 but is impossible to make contact with. There was a guy near cleveland selling carb floats but stopped selling them because his supplier went out of business. Hope to hear from somebody that might know of other sources for these parts.
Re: Hi Carb floats: Have you tried Summit Racing? P/S pulley: keep trying. Once in a great while they show up on Ebay. Always ask the seller for a diameter because some are so clever with a letter punch set. Many repop pulleys are made out of billet stock so they will work but are not concours exact.
Re: Hi--reply Thanks for the info. I looked at summit. Theirs might work. My problem has been with the shape of the float or the arm or both. Carl's Ford parts outside of Cleveland had the correct one. There is a picture of it on his web site. His supplier is M.I.A. now. So i'm S.O.L. As far as the pulley goes, there is 3 pictures of what appears to be a billet steel reproduction that looks correct with correct stampings. Just seems odd that this person has chosen to sell them on an obscure website call upillar.com. It requires you to register there before you can email the seller. Also found the same pulley at rivercitymustang.com. Emailed him and the response was that he would check into the dimensions and stamping only if I was ready to order it. Ebay's offerings have been more like buyer beware. One guy has been trying to pass off a pulley as the correct one for at least two months now but it isn't the right one. Also tried Jeff Yergovich who has a billet repro but he wants $350. I guess just have to patient .
Re: Hi Found a group on the Internet that helped me with some of my issues when I needed hard to find parts. Concept One Pulley, manufacturer of car pulley systems. Give them a buzz and see if they can help out: Car Pulley Systems | Concept One Pulleys
America - land of opportunity. Perhaps somebody could bankroll a production run of a hundred or so. It could happen. Remember how hard it was to find a correct steering wheel until somebody started making them?
