Well, some were concerned as a few storms passed through the area Friday night preceding the show, but the rain was gone by the early am hours and the sun was shining bright in anticipation of the day's event. The weather was great and there was an impressive turnout (both cars and attendees) at the LegacyTexas SCAT 20th Reunion Shelby car show last weekend! There were more than 60 cars including a variety of 1965-1970 Shelby Mustangs, original Cobras as well as CSX4000 and other replicas, 6 Ford GTs, and a wide variety of new generation Shelby Mustangs, including Terlinguas, Shelby GTs, GT500s and Super Snakes. A variety of other Ford performance vehicles were on display as well. Congratulations go out to Ginger and all of the volunteers at LegacyTexas Bank as well as Don Arnold and all of the fine folks with the Shelby Cobra Association of Texas. Well done! I wish I could share my photos with all of you but it seems that the SD memory card in my camera has stopped working and all photos are lost. However, I will continue to pursue data recovery options and hope to be able to post the images very soon. All the best, Randall
It was a great show Randall and I have to say it's nice being a member of SCAT again. The highlight for me was seeing the 1966 Shelby GT 350 (#2015) that I sold to Larry 15 years ago. It looked better than ever. I looked for you while I was there, but I guess I kept missing you. Take care, hope to see you at one of the SCAT meetings in the future.
