On Sunday i got a email from a guy who was the 3rd owner of my car. He told me a lot about my car. He was doing a google search and found my car on this site when it was car of the month. He said he was going to send me some stuff he still had on my car. He bought it in 1969 and drove it ever day and ran it in SCCA on week ends, Sold it in 1974.

That's pretty cool! You're lucky he was searching at the time your car was Car of the Month.

    Good for you.
Do we have a pic of your VIN tag and SFM passenger side stamping that I have been collecting as a project with Howard?
Lets hope there is some cool memorabilia for you!

The 1st owner was in the Navy then he sold it to the second owner. Who was in the Navy also in CA. He got out of the Navy he moved back home to Orange Texas. He drag raced the car and he worked at Dupont. The Third owner Jim was a Eng at dupont he say the car in the lot one day. He asked the guy if he wanted to sell it. Jim said the guy need the money, So Jim bought it. Jim told me it was his evry day driver and he got rid of the dual quards and headers and lader bars. Jim put it back so he could run in SCCA events. He said he one all of the races he was in except 1. He blew the clutch up one time and broke the ring gear. He drove it hard and it was a strong car.Steve I will take some pictures of the tag and stampings that you want this week end.
