    Hi There,

I was wondering if anyone new of where I can purcahse a set of Lug Nuts
which were used on the 'R' model Shelby's or 69/70 Boss 302 Mustangs?

I recently contacted Phil Schmidt from PS Engineering to purchase a set, however Phil has informed me that he no longer manufactures the Lug Nuts to suit his wheels.

I have a set of Ameraican Torque Thrust 'D' wheels with a tapered seat (acorn) and I would like to run a set of these on my wheels.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me in the right direction?

I thought I would mention just in case you were not aware that the long lugnuts that I assume you are talking about did not come into use until 68 Trans Am Racing . Historically speaking they would have been a later after the fact upgrade on a 65 B production R model in much the same way that the T bird front brakes and rear disc brakes were added but weren't allowed to be used until starting in 1968 on the cars raced in Trans Am. Re: Trans Am Lug Nuts - Stainless Steel

Thanks Bob and I appreciate your feedback...

Well, after being frustrated in not being able to source a set of 'Trans-Am' style wheel nut's to suit my 15" x 7" Torque Trust 'D' wheel's, I went out and made my own.

    They're made of 316L 7/8" Stainless Steel Bar Stock, 1/2" - 20, 60 degree taper x 2 1/2" Long.

Also, I can have them made to suit 7/16" stud diameter, as well as in industrial type steel with the thread taper going all the way through to the end. Length's can be also tailored to as well.

These are made in Australia (not 'China') and they look tough!...

Unfortunately I'm not up to speed in being able to upload image's, however I can send images of them to those people who are interested in seeing them...

    Cheers,
