What percentages tint do you guys do your Shelby?

Hi Rshelby I have been thinking about window tint also. My shelby is white /blue stripes. Why does the car color make a difference please? thanks Ron

 

I live in Centennial CO and my tint is one level in the illigal catagory. Just make sure when you are pulled over by an officer...open your window immediately as he gets off of his MC or out of the car.

 

Checking what your local law is will let you know for sure. Here you can get the opra for rear sides and back and 35% on drivers and passanger door. Our Department of Public Safety (DPS) love to pull them over and check them with a light meter. They made a friend who installed his own tint take it off on the spot or they were going to call a wrecker to tow it away. It also could have been two hard heads butting that it ended up that way also.

 

before you do extra tinting consider that tint levels vary with different states. Extra level tint over factory percentage may cost you a ticket and a requirement to have it removed. This can also be a factor when selling the car to someone in another state. As far as putting down the window, make sure you put down the passenger side as well.

The cheapest tint is darker sun glasses.
