All: I'm new to this site, so this question may have already been discussed before. I am looking to replace the tires on my KR and am trying to establish (before I buy) if 235/60R/15's will fit. I read on another site that they may be too large and rub against the wheel well. I am looking to buy these tires on-line, so I need to be sure they will fit properly. The rims are the 15x7 inch-ten spoke.

    Thanks

I think 235s will be too big in the front. 225s might be a better choice. Perhaps a search will work, I know this comes up frequently.

I am running Good Year GTII 235/60-15 on my 67 Shelby
with a HiPo 289 and relocated upper control arms and it never
rubs. However, my fenders were rolled both front and rear when
I bought the car in 1977. Previously I was running Dunlop GT Qualifiers
245/60-15 and they rubbed in the front when backing with the
    wheels turned.

I have 215/65-15 on the 10 spokes on my 67. Once I lowered the car where the top of the tire was above the lip of the wheelwell. They would rub if you turned the steering wheel all the way so I raised it back up about 1/4" above the tire.

I've heard that 225 is about the limit on the front. 235 on the back is not problem.

I had 15 inch 235 60 BFG's on my 67 GT500 and they slightly rubbed on the front but it was not really a problem. This was with the front fenders rolled and with the upper control arms relocated for the 1 inch lowering of the front of the car. As I said, slight rub but only with wheels fully turned.
