Is anyone on the list bidding on this, and if they are, could they tell me
why it has been bid to such a high amount? If this sells, should we expect
poorly / barely restored cars to start bringing this kind of $?
If you are the owner of this car, and on the list, the only thing I can say
    is WOW

I do not want to be a "tattle tale", but here is what I noticed about the black Hertz car on e-bay. About 1-2 months ago, it was offered on e-bay by a person that I know of from Salem, Oregon. It was bid to around 68k, and then the seller ended the auction early, for whatever reason, I do not know. Then, we see the car listed again, this time by someone in Connecticut, and using the photos from the earlier auction, taken somewhere in Oregon. Then I could not help but notice that the bidder at the time, whom I will not name ( I am not in to slamming someone, I am merely making a point) was the seller from the earlier auction, in Oregon. Seems that the car was bought by someone in Connecticut, and then the seller was helping him bid it up. I assume this because the first seller was bidding on the car above what the car was bid to in the previous auction. These are just my observations, and I am not out to point a finger at anyone, it just seems fishy to me. I always wonder how many e-bay sales actually go through.? I would rather look at real, documented private sales, or live auction sales.
