I have acquired a 1990 Shelby Dakota. I also have a 1990 Dakota Convertible. The Shelby sits about an inch lower in the front than my stock Dakota. Is that a mod that was done by Shelby or has someone cut the springs at some point in the past?
If it's a Shelby Dakota, then it's actually an '89 not a '90 as they were only made in 1989. The Shelby sits lower because it carries more weight in the front end due to the V8. It uses the stock V6 springs that came on the truck from Chrysler. Robert
