I was under the impression that all KR's were late
bodied cars, thus having the late style reflector on
the back quarter side panels. I have seen two of them
lately having the early style is this correct or are
these rebodies that someone did? Jeff H.

KR's would be a Cobra Jet engine cars-GT-500's,The CJ's were introduced in
    '681/2.Early 68's & 67 GT-500's would be PI engines.............

What you observed is ether a clone KR done non correctly or a GT 500 with a
KR stripe kit .The KR stripe kit thing used to be popular 25 years ago when
no one knew the differance . It has to have a "R"engine code in VIN to be
a KR. Hope this helps. Bob G.----- Original Message -----
