Hey all Big Daddy here I just joined today and this is my first post. I have been a Mustang enthusiast since the 70's when I owned a Medium Lime Gold 1967 GTA with a 390cid. Unfortunately I sold it in 1976 ($400.00 ). Currently I own a Pastel Blue stock 1970 Mustang coupe (still restoring ) and a Torch Red 2005 Mustang GT . I got extremely fortunate and Mr. Shelby signed my GT at the SAAC does Vegas IX event this year. It was the thrill of a lifetime to meet him . I was also fortunate to be at the Mustang 40th anniversary show this past year and drove my 70 from California to Nashville with a group of Mustang/Shelby enthusiasts with the Mustangs Across America group. If any of you watched the Kings of the Road Mustangs Across America documentary on the drive I was one of the featured drivers. They did about a 5 minute piece on me and my 70. I represented the 70's era cars. It was a blast. I have been married 28 years to a wonderful lady. Her name is Elin (E-Lynn). Most folks can't pronounce her name so they call her Jo (middle name is Johanna) It's just easier. I have 2 beautiful children and 2 (3rd on the way ) grandchildren. I live in Indian Springs, Nevada. That is about 25 miles outside of Las Vegas. I work for the State prison system and in 6years 5 months 18 days from now (but whose counting ) I will be able to retire and spend full time on my Mustangs!
