Which seat belts are correct for a '68 GT350 convertible, and which vendors currently have them available?
    Thanks

Each convertible is going to have six black seat belts that look this picture. The deluxe buckles are metal and chrome. The belts are not reproduced, but there are several companies that will refurbish old belts to make them look like new again.

The seat belts have a unique push button snake emblem. It is reproduced, but can be easily spotted. The convertible uses two special inertia reel retractors just like the fastbacks. These retractors are not reproduced. There are some look-a-likes. You can expect to pay $1000-1500 for a good set of retractors.

    $1500, Yikes!

I'm just interested in lap belts for the front & back seats, not shoulder harnesses, etc.

Does anyone make any decent aftermarket lap belts that would accommodate the Repro snake sticker?

    Thanks

No one makes an accurate reproduction, but there are plenty of originals around. They can be refurbished and rewebbed.

I know that on non-Shelby verts the retractors were an option. Just regular old fixed length belt that is always falling out of the car and scratching the paint. Python did mine and they look great. $300 but I had cores. Best bet is to buy a set of OEM ones off ebay and send them in as cores. 68 or 69 will work.
